Club Members win at the Western Doggie Roundup

What a nice entry for Bichons at the Western Doggie Roundup put on by the San Gabriel Valley Kennel Club and the Antelope Valley Kennel Club last weekend.  There were 20 bichons entered on Saturday and 21 on Sunday.  The field of specials was well represented by the BFCSD and our very own “PJ” (GCH CH Karmel’s Banana In Pajamas) took home back-to-Back Best of Breed ribbons and topped it off with a Group 2 and Group 3.  “Betsy Ross” (GCH CH SHE Bichons Betsy Ross) took Select Bitch on Saturday and Best Opposite to her daddy, PJ, on Sunday.

Not to be outdone by the special bichons, youngsters Wills (Hollyhock Heir To The Throne) and Misty (Scarlet’s In The Midst of Hollyhock) made their conformation debut, with Wills taking home Reserve Winner’s Dog under owner/handler Linda Rowe.

Congratulations to all the winners and bravo to all our BFCSD club members who routinely show up with beautiful dogs and represent our breed!
