Desi gets Colwell Fund Aid

A tumor the size of a tennis ball was removed from this poor boy!  Desi, a wonderful 8-year old boy had lived with this tumor all his life.  It recently started to become “unstable” on his head and the owners surrendered him to Bichon Rescue Brigade in the hope that he would find the medical attention he deserved and a forever home where they could provide for any potential ongoing complications after surgery.  The BFCSD’s Colwell Rescue Fund provided the funds to get Desi the medical care he needed. 

Desi’s surgery was a success and the tumor was benign.  He will be sporting a nasty scar just in time for Halloween, and his hair will grow over it and you’ll never even notice.  He will make a wonderful addition to some lucky family.  Please visit www.bichonrescuebrigade.org if you know someone interested in adopting Desi.
